flA4

Enzyme Information
reference: 10.1039/C6RA00100A
host: E. coli
note: 8.20+/-0.96 mM KF. Adenosine and 5'-FDA enhance protein stability and the wild-type enzyme is more stable than other mutants. Tris-HCl buffer (pH 7.0) is better for maintaining stability. Optimal temperature is 40 C. pH is crucial for activity, the enzyme seems to prefer acidic environment as low as 4. Addition of EDTA makes the enzyme less active. Cu and Zn inhibit activity. Excellent stability over 4 days in 25C in a 50 mM Tris-HCl buffer (pH 7.0)
producer: Streptomyces xinghaiensis NRRL B24674
phmm-model: SAM_fluorinase.hmm
